Holy Week Walk-Through and Musical Event in Guyana Highlights the Life and Resurrection of Jesus Christ

As part of its Holy Week outreach efforts, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Georgetown, Guyana hosted a two-day walk-through and musical event on March 27 and 28, designed to help attendees reflect on the life, ministry, sacrifice, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The experience guided participants through key moments of the Savior’s life, beginning with His birth and continuing through His entry into Jerusalem, His teachings at the temple, the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, His crucifixion, and the empty tomb. The journey concluded in a reverent musical setting, where sacred music centered on the Resurrection created a reflective and spiritual atmosphere.

Community members, friends, and neighbors from surrounding areas attended, and several expressed that the experience was deeply moving and spiritually uplifting.

Through initiatives like this, the Church continues to share messages of faith and hope during the Easter season, inviting individuals and families to reflect on the significance of Jesus Christ’s Atonement and its impact on their lives
