Young Single Adults of Puerto Rico Strengthen Their Faith 2025 YSA Conference

Under the theme "Faithful Soldier of Christ" based on 2 Timothy 2:3, young single adults from Puerto Rico gathered to strengthen their faith, develop spiritual skills, and foster unity during the conference.

The event, which took place from January 2-4 of this year, began with a warm welcome for participants to get to know each other, followed by a devotional led by Elder Oscar Perez, Area Seventy, and his wife. During their message, they reflected on the attributes of a faithful soldier of Christ. The evening concluded with a dance class, where the young people enjoyed an activity that promoted integration and fellowship.

The second day was filled with enriching activities. Participants began with a workshop based on Preach My Gospel, taught by local leaders. This workshop addressed setting goals, developing Christ-like attributes, and helping others keep commitments. In the afternoon, they enjoyed team games that fostered collaboration and strengthened their bonds of friendship.

In addition, practical workshops on self-reliance were held, where topics such as emotional resilience, personal finances, and strategies to improve employment were discussed. In the afternoon devotionals, attendees were divided by age and gender to discuss topics such as divine identity, magnifying the priesthood, revelation, and persevering to the end.

The day concluded with a musical devotional organized by the young adults themselves. During the event, they shared testimonies and reflections on how the songs brought them closer to Jesus Christ. In a special moment, they wrote down their personal challenges and "buried" them, symbolizing their commitment to overcome obstacles and strengthen their faith in the coming year.

The conference closed with an emotional testimony meeting and a devotional. The leaders invited the youth to establish good traditions and prepare spiritually for the Savior's second coming.

"I am so grateful for this conference. Seeing how we can strengthen our friendships and testimonies was so nice. At conferences like these, I feel the love of the Savior, not only through the inspirational messages but also through the other young adults I share with," said Aliah Olmo, a conference participant.

This conference was a space for spiritual growth and connection for young single adults in Puerto Rico, reaffirming their commitment to live as disciples of Christ.
